Vermont Ranatra
Fusca History
The Ranatra
Fusca Creativity Award represents the essence of the Odyssey of the Mind
program. It is presented to teams or individuals who exhibit exceptional
creativity, either through some aspect of their problem solution, their
behavior, or an extraordinary idea beyond the problem solution.
Teams
receiving the Ranatra Fusca award for some aspect of the Long-Term
solution are invited to attend the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals. Several
teams may receive the Ranatra Fusca award each year. Typically one team is awarded
the Vermont State Tournament Ranatra Fusca award.
In Vermont, we
honor those teams who reach this pinnacle of creativity by engraving their
school and team name on the Ranatra Fusca trophy.
