SUMMARY:Skills Workshops
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is split into several sessions: \n“Performance Polish” is intended to help teams assess their presentations and think how they might improve on their performance with an emphasis on improving the Style component of their performance. \nBalsa Workshop familiarizes teams with using balsa wood in the Structure problem and testing structures. \nCardboard Construction will provide tips for using cardboard to create stronger structures. \nOdyssey Improv providing teams members with an opportunity to learn the art of “thinking on your feet” in the most creative and fun way! \nRegistration is required and space is limited. To allow teams to make the most of this opportunity\, we will allow the teams to split up\, sending parts of the team to the different workshops.
