Vermont Odyssey of the Mind
This workshop is split into several sessions, including “Performance Polish” and Spontaneous Workshop:
“Performance Polish” is intended to help teams assess their presentations and think how they might improve on their performance with an emphasis on improving the Style component of their performance.
The spontaneous workshop works on strategies useful for developing spontaneous problem solving skills.
NEW!
Team members will learn basic skills that they can use in their solutions.
Cardboard Construction will provide tips for using cardboard to create stronger structures.
Sewing Basics will provide basic instruction in the use of a sewing machine.
Registration is required and space is limited. To allow teams to make the most of this opportunity, we will allow the teams to split up, sending parts of the team to the different workshops. We are asking, that a parent or coach accompany each group.
