Tournament Payment Deadline
Tournament registration fee is $50 for Division 1-3, $20 for Primary. Late registration (after Jan. 19), fees double. Payment is due Feb. 3, 2018. After Feb. 3, fees double. Payment may be made by check (payable to “Vermont Creativity Quest, Inc.” and mailed to: 198 N Main St Unit B-2, Rutland, VT 05701), or by school purchase order, or by credit card through PayPal. Judges’ Training
Everyone who has volunteered to serve as a judge at the 2018 Odyssey of the Mind State Tournament is required to attend a judges’ training session. This is a 3.5 hour training. Refreshments will be provided. Registration is required.

It’s time to celebrate all your hard work! Teams will gather to perform their solutions to the Long-term Problems they have been working so hard on for the past six months. Spectators will enjoy seeing all the many and diverse solutions teams have created. Teams will also demonstrate their quick and creative thinking in the Spontaneous portion of the competition. Whether competing or watching, the day will be a celebration of some spectacular creativity!

Southern Coaches’ Training
This event is free and no registration is necessary. All coaches, and those thinking they might want to coach, are encouraged to attend. Veteran coaches are especially encouraged to attend and support the newcomers. This event will be held at Otter Valley Union High School in Brandon, VT.

Problem 4 coaches and teams are encouraged to attend this one hour workshop with Problem Captain Leslie Griffiths and Head Judge Bobby Wong. It will precede the three hour Skills Workshop.

This workshop is split into several sessions, including “Performance Polish” and Spontaneous Workshop: “Performance Polish” is intended to help teams assess their presentations and think how they might improve on their performance with an emphasis on improving the Style component of their performance.
