Northern Spontaneous Scrimmage Session 1 (9:00 AM)

Teams will put their spontaneous skills to the test in this mock spontaneous competition. They will experience all three different types of spontaneous problems and will be given feedback on their performance. This is a one hour session (9:00 – 10:00). Registration is required and space is limited.

Coaches’ Meeting with Problem Captains

Problem Captains will be available from 10:00 – 11:00 to meet with coaches. Ask questions, learn about the problem site and any special issues for this year’s problems. Registration is NOT required.

Tournament Registration Deadline

Tournament registration fee is $50 for Division 1-3, $20 for Primary. Late registration (after Jan. 19), fees double. Payment is due Feb. 3, 2018. Payments made after Feb. 3, fees double. Payment may be made by check or by credit card through PayPal.  Payments through PayPal will be charged a 4% service fee.

Tournament Payment Deadline

Judges’ Training

Everyone who has volunteered to serve as a judge at the 2018 Odyssey of the Mind State Tournament is required to attend a judges’ training session. This is a 3.5 hour training. Refreshments will be provided. Registration is required.

Vermont Odyssey of the Mind 2018 State Tournament

March 17, 2018 @ 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

It’s time to celebrate all your hard work!  Teams will gather to perform their solutions to the Long-term Problems they have been working so hard on for the past six months.  Spectators will enjoy seeing all the many and diverse solutions teams have created.  Teams will also demonstrate their quick and creative thinking in the Spontaneous portion of the competition. Whether competing or watching, the day will be a celebration of some spectacular creativity!

World Finals Team Meeting (North)
