Judges’ Training
Everyone who has volunteered to serve as a judge at the 2017 Odyssey of the Mind State Tournament is required to attend a judges’ training session. This is a 3.5 hour training. Refreshments will be provided. Registration is required.

Northern Coaches’ Training

Balsa Training
Problem 4 coaches and teams are encouraged to attend this one hour workshop with Problem Captain Leslie Griffiths and Head Judge Bobby Wong. It will precede the three hour “Performance Polish” and Spontaneous workshop.

This three hour workshop is split into two sessions: “Performance Polish” is intended to help teams assess their presentations and think how they might improve on their performance. The spontaneous workshop works on strategies useful for developing spontaneous problem solving skills. Registration is required and space is limited.
